Made from organic Ventile cotton and sewn in Portugal. Originally developed in Britain during the Second World War for Royal Air Force pilots, Ventile is densely woven for natural resistance to wind and rain. When exposed to moisture, the cotton fibers swell, tightening the fabric while allowing it to remain breathable.

Lightweight and cut in a relaxed silhouette. Built for windy mornings on the course, coastal weather, travel, and everyday wear.

What is Ventile fabric?
Ventile is a densely woven, 100% cotton fabric developed in Britain during WWII for RAF pilots. Rather than relying on a synthetic membrane or coating, its cotton fibers swell when wet, tightening the weave and increasing water resistance while the fabric stays breathable.

Is Ventile actually waterproof?
It's water-resistant rather than fully waterproof; it holds up well in wind and light-to-moderate rain, and its resistance improves as the fibers swell with moisture. It will need occasional reproofing to maintain that performance over time.
