SLOAT began with a specific place in mind.

Sloat Boulevard runs west through San Francisco to the southern edge of Ocean Beach, where golf and surfing exist alongside cold water, heavy fog, strong wind, and rapidly changing conditions.

We founded SLOAT with the belief that golf clothes could be made differently: from natural materials, with restraint, and without the overtly technical appearance of conventional performance apparel. Our clothing is designed to move between the course, the city, and the coast—and to remain useful well beyond a single season or activity.

We work primarily with GOTS-certified organic cotton, Responsible Wool Standard-certified wool, and Good Cashmere Standard cashmere. Our products are made by factories whose work we respect and whose names we are proud to share.

SLOAT was founded in San Francisco in 2026 by Daniel Fibiger and Teague Moriarty. We came to the brand from different industries, but with a shared respect for materials, craft, patience, and the people who are exceptionally good at making things.

Our aim is simple: to make beautiful, useful clothing that works in San Francisco and far beyond it—and to make it well enough to remain in someone’s life for years.
