MATERIALS
GOTS-CERTIFIED ORGANIC COTTON
GOTS-certified organic cotton is grown without genetically modified seeds or the routine use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. The Global Organic Textile Standard extends beyond the field, setting requirements for chemical inputs, wastewater treatment, working conditions, and traceability throughout textile processing. The result is cotton with a documented path from raw fiber to finished fabric—not simply a claim about how it was grown.
RWS-CERTIFIED MERINO WOOL
The Responsible Wool Standard recognizes wool from independently audited farms that follow defined requirements for sheep welfare and land stewardship. It addresses the animals’ treatment throughout their lives, prohibits mulesing, and requires responsible management of the land on which they graze. Certification follows the wool through the supply chain, providing traceability from farm to finished product.
GCS-CERTIFIED CASHMERE
The Good Cashmere Standard was developed to improve the welfare of cashmere goats, support the people who care for them, and protect the landscapes on which they depend. Its requirements cover nutrition, health, handling, and combing, along with working conditions, responsible land management, and biodiversity. Participating farms and early-stage processing facilities are regularly assessed through independent verification.
VENTILE® COTTON
Ventile® is a densely woven fabric originally developed in Britain during the 1940s to protect RAF pilots exposed to severe weather. Made from extra-long-staple cotton yarns, its exceptionally tight construction provides natural resistance to wind and rain while remaining breathable and comfortable in dry conditions. It achieves its weather protection without a membrane or coating, creating outerwear that feels less technical and wears in naturally over time.
